 Hi Mark,

 Could you possibly have a look at this ticket?  It checks the URLContext
 to see if an item is streamed on open, and then uses that variable to set
 whether or not seeking is allowed.  Seeking backwards also appears to work
 for me.

 You have seen more of this content than I have, so only you would know if
 it's correct.  With this patch applied I am doing alright with video
 podcasts and some other streamed content.
