 It is very related.  I'm playing the same file on multiple platforms.  As
 you can see mythtv has aproximately 80% length as compared to other
 players.  This seriously affects playback on exported recordings.

 MythTv is saying the recording is 80% of it's length.  Commercial skips
 are being calculated using the same mythtv method which determines 80%
 length.   However, ffmpeg does not use that same calculation which turns a
 1 hour show into a 49 minute show.

 The key to figuring out this problem will also involve reworking comskip.
