 On Windows, MythTV has settings to select Direct3D as the current video
 renderer and the paint engine.  Unfortunately, both options are broken on
 my Win32 systems (Win2k and WinXP with Nvidia GTS 2 Pro graphics) and also
 with Wine 1.3.6 and VirtualBox 3.2.10.  The attached patch enables GUI
 painting and video on all these systems except VirtualBox (Direct3D driver
 issue).
