 I've seen this problem with DVB recordings ever since I started using Myth
 (0.19 time). It hasn't been fixed by any version change, ffmpeg sync or
 anything. I don't think it is db table corruption issue, I e.g. do MySQL
 optimize/repair nightly. Symptoms are exactly the same, original time
 shown is too short but running mythcommflag "fixes" the issue.
