Comment:

 I'll make a small concession by widening these selectors, but they won't
 be as wide as in the patch. The fundamental problem is that however wide
 they are, chances are good that someone will come forward with a language
 which makes those strings even longer. Translators need to be sensitive to
 the context and space which might be available, word for word translations
 may sometimes be a bad idea, abbreviations may need to be used and some
 languages might need their own themes.

 For example, I expect that those in countries with R-to-L languages will
 want to create their own themes and the same may be true for those whose
 language is particularly verbose.
