Log:

Explicitly define the default values for the time before an OSD screen
begins to fade (5000ms) and the time taken to fade (1000ms).

These are currently hardcoded and a decision will need to be made as to
whether the hardcoded values are acceptable, whether to override them
via (existing) settings or make them themeable.
