 For the last while, I've experienced frontend hangs during playback
 of some HD content (sample attached) from only one OTA channel.

 It appears that that frontend goes into an infinite loop on playback in
 AudioOutputBase::_AddSamples() resulting in an NPV pre-buffering
 hang with this particular file.

 Turning off audio "upconvert" options on the frontend provides
 workaround. With upconvert off the file plays fine.

 Attached mpg file hangs internal player with audio upconvert turned on.

 To recreate:

   Turn on 5.1 upconvert options (mythfrontend).
   Play attached recording sample using built-in player.

 Most recordings from this channel cause the hang, either the entire
 recording or when entering commericals.

 Using ALSA:spdif as sound backend w. 5.1 speaker configuration (lenny
 amd64 distro).
