 When mtd is invoked like "mtd -d" , this is preventing the DVD drive from
 staying open.  Running the eject command, pressing the button, or any
 similar actions get the tray to eject and then reject back in.  Killing
 mtd prevents the problem.

 Last verified on trunk 22101.
