Log:

Prevent repeated enabling/disabling of deinterlacing for streams with mixed flags. For non-DVD playback, we lock the scan to Interlaced if we've seen a mix of progressive and interlaced frames. This should not affect the 99.9% of streams that are correctly flagged as either progressive or interlaced and will not interfere with any user override. The scan lock is still released when the input changes, so users with the mixed flag problem AND different video parameters for advert breaks (for example) will still see some visual artifacts.
