 One thing I have noticed, which may help in trouble-shooting this, is that
 the segfault  occurs only play-back is near the end of the recording.

 For example, Live TV, or when you watch a recording as it is being
 recorded and skip through some adds so that it catches up with the end of
 the recording.

 As a work-around I have just been pausing LiveTV for 5 seconds or so
 before watching it, or just making sure that I dont watch recordings as
 soon as they start.

 Any way, hopefully you find this information useful.
