 (In [20650]) Refs #6478. Applies part of the program table
 listingsource+timestamp patch from Chase Douglas. There is plenty of good
 stuff not in this commit, this partial commit is just to shrink the patch
 of the simple stuff while other parts of the patch are tested and refined.
