 This problem had been fixed in release-0-21-fixes for some time.  Since
 then, I've switched to watching the Newshour via over the air broadcast
 video, so I haven't tried playing these ASF files for a month or so.

 Now that I try to play them again, I am not seeing the issue reported in
 this thread, rather the video is being played at too fast a rate, giving
 the audio an "alvin and the chipmunks" sound.  I remember seeing this
 issue before, and I was able to fix this with a configuration change, but
 I don't recall exactly how I fixed this (different) issue.

 I am running mythtv-0.21-fixes svn revision 20779 on amd64 gentoo linux
 currently.  I'm sorry, but I do not want to try upgrading to 0.22 just
 yet.  This particular issue has been resolved in mythtv-0.21-fixes for
 several months.  I consider this bug to be resolved, but if you want to be
 sure it works under 0.22, feel free to download the video from
 http://dogshu.netlsd.com/080528_May_28,_2008.asf and try it under 0.22
 yourself.
