 I suspect the -vid merge is the cause of the following issue.

 When exiting LiveTV with the prompt on exit setting enabled the video
 pauses but no exit prompt is shown, playback can be resumed by pressing
 play.

 The attached patch seems to fix the issue for me but it has only had a
 short amount of testing.
