Comment:

 I think this has been resolved in trunk, at least I can no longer
 reproduce the corruption there.

 This functionality is fully contained within ffmpeg and was probably fixed
 by one of Janne's ffmpeg merges.

 Bottom line:

 It will stay as it is in the 0.21 -fixes branch and YMMV still applies
 there but it is working in current trunk.
