 I unpatched mythsocket.cpp and reproduced this.  I've attached the log of
 -v network

 I failed to mention in the bug, that this actually results in
 mythfilldatabase segfaulting.  It's only at the end, so it's already
 completed all the important database updates.  It just fails to tell
 mythbackend to reschedule.
