#6841: Incorrect Transport Frequencies After channel Scan on DVB-T Homerun UK
-----------------------------------+----------------------------------------

     Type: defect | Status: new
 Priority: blocker | Milestone: unknown
Component: MythTV - DVB/ATSC | Version: head
 Severity: medium | Mlocked: 0

I have a DVB-T hdhomerun running the latest beta firmware.

I am from the UK an I and getting my TV reception from the Bromsgrove
 Mast: http://www.ukfree.tv/txdetail.php?a=SO948730

I can see this from my window the signal is a little weak as i am using a
small ariel but strong enough to get good enough reception.

I am running the latest trunk version of Myth. I have an issue that after
scanning the channels and filling the database I can not tune into live TV
on the frontend. I get the message unable to get a channel lock with 0%
singal and (l__) no lock as the status This is the same for every channel
that myth is trying to tune to.

I have used the hdgomerun debug command to look at what channel the HR was
trying to tune to. After looking around i noticed that the Ransport
frequencies found in the channel editor seemed to correspond to the
frequencies that mythfrontend was tuning to.

I then happened to run the HR scanning tool to see if i could check the
frequencies and got totally different result from the HR to myth.

Tuning the HR manually to the channels that the HR finds it picks up TV
nicely this has been tested in both VLC and Boxee.

 See the attached logs
