 Before, in head around changeset 20000, when I used to browse pictures, I
 could also see and play the videos captured by my camera - stored in the
 same directory. Now they don't appear when browsing pictures, so they
 don't play.

 Am I doing something wrong or has something changed?

 Mythtv 0.22, latest head, + vdpau.
