 Just attached an updated patch. The cx8802 dma errors seem to have been
 solved (based on a 1 hour test so far).

 The 'solution' was to use some code from TuningShutdowns which closes the
 DTVSignalMonitor and/or StreamData, particularly the former was likely to
 be running when the channel was closed, causing the dma data flow to still
 be present and causing the kernel to comment in /var/log/messages. No more
 messages of that type seen.

 This patch is for 0.21-fixes but also applies to Trunk (trunk svn 18954)
 with only one hunk requiring relocation. Compile-tested only, as I do not
 have a functional trunk system.
