 I see the same problem.  I only just started watching DVDs again recently,
 so do not know when it started.  I am running svn 16542, nVidia binary
 version 169.09, Fedora 8 on a Core 2 duo.

 I will try some other nVidia versions when I get a chance.  What is the
 latest "safe" version of Myth trunk -- or has all of the fore-warned
 merges not happened yet?
