 Current HEAD (r16554) works fine for me without any patches,
 thank you.

 I'm on a process of testing marks patch.. so far sound seems to work fine
 with pulseaudio (mythtv with alsa), x86_64 system with spdif connection to
 amplifier.
 I'm not using music at the moment, so I'll be testing live tv and
 recordings and video only.
