 As the original submitter of this bug, I can't say this is fixed. The
 trouble channels I mentioned are still not playing right. Although the
 situation has improved, the video and audio are out of sync and strange
 things happen when I skip forward. The audio starts stuttering and the
 video is jittery. Skipping backward makes it better but not ideal. I get a
 lot of these messages:

 2008-03-07 17:51:19.900 NVP::AddAudioData():p1: Audio buffer overflow,
 audio data lost!

 May I be so presumptuous as to reopen this bug or should I create a new
 one? The symptoms are slightly different.
