Comment:

 This seems to be due to an error (database problem?) - mythbackend was
 returning zero for both GET_FREE_RECORDER_COUNT and QUERY_RECORDINGS.
 There are two situations where extra popups could be displayed:
   1) No capture cards defined, and
   2) No free cards or current recordings
 but it is an enhancement, low priority, and not needed for 0.21
