 Thanks nmix. On Astra 19.E there is the FTA Channel Astravision or Arte HD
 which broadcas in dvb-s2 fta, so I should be able to decode them. Since I
 don't ( amthough everyhing installs and compiles OK) there is obviously
 something wrong with my setup. Maybe open-sasc-ng is interfering and
 preventing mythtv to tune to dvb-s2 channles. Will try to disable it and
 report result here.

 If any one succeed to watch dvb-s2 using 8psk modulation and all the
 patches above, please report it here, it will be encouraging for me and
 others !
