 Not exactly sure what you mean by "Does the channel recording rule have a
 blank callsign?", tell me how to find out, and I will do. Have checked the
 channels info page, and all channels have the callsign box filled in.

 The majority of my recordings are set to record from any channel, due to a
 mix of Freeview and Freesat tuners.

 Have tried the same with a program set to record from a specific channel
 (BBC HD) with exactly the same result.
