 Hi Maverik. I guess this is only going to afftect more users until the
 kernel is patched? We definitely need a MythTV workaround, then.

 I am thinking a bool in MythCDROMLinux that is set if the status reporting
 problem is detected. Eject would use "eject -T" if it is set.
