 Daniel,

 I have this issue with only a single box. I have a shared backend/frontend
 on the same machine and without this patch, it messages itself into
 crashing.

 I'm really not sure what triggered it, but I did restore a db from a
 different machine (different hostname). Previous to this restore, it
 worked fine.
