 I can confirm this exact behaviour but my suspicion is that this is caused
 by the user....  my story is almost the same... all very stable until
 about 2 weeks or so ago now has frequent crashes... myth complains of
 recordseek table being crashed and I get a "backtrace' output similar to
 the one posted above.... but the libraries reference are
 /lib64/libnss_files-2.5.so and
 /usr/qt/3/plugins/sqldrivers/libqsqlmysql.so.... running mysqlrepair did
 not find any problems in my case... in my case I PRELINKED the system
 recently and I am thinking that this has broken some libraries... I am
 running the latest SVN head on an am64 running gentoo 2.6.20-r2...  I will
 add to this ticket if I learn something more significant....
