 Why hack?  Please read the instructions at
 http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/Nuvexport#Debug_Mode

 If mythtranscode is dying, it's a problem with mythtranscode, not
 nuvexport, so you need to run mythtranscode by itself, outside of
 nuvexport.
