Comment:

 Narrowing down the revision isn't going to help fix this problem. It's
 related to the newer method of handling livetv and so we know when the bug
 was introduced, we just don't know the cause yet. I suspect there may be
 more than one problem - descriptions of this bug seem to vary.

 I'm actually able to reproduce the "LiveTV JumpTo 1" loop on one of my
 machines and when I have the time I'll work on finding the cause.

 What currently happens and which should definitely never occur, is that we
 seem to get stuck in this loop waiting for the new file to appear, we
 never give up and therefore I've seen logs of 2GB filled with "LiveTV
 JumpTo 1" after which the machine runs out of diskspace.
