 On an OSX frontend, the default setup has the sound
 device not set ~= NULL, and this results in no sound

 However setting it to pretty much anything will result
 in the frontend having sound. The default should
 therefore be changed to something that will have
 sound by default.

 nb. by default, i mean when you setup a new frontend.
