 Matthew, I haven't seen the patch yet, so I don't know what it does, but
 my gut feeling is that the recordings should stay where they are.

 The contrib/mythrename.pl script could be modified to create
 subdirectories, though. (either when using the --link argument, or with a
 new argument)
