 I took a chance and tried implementing the SwitchLiveTVRingbuffer
 workaround on 0-20-fixes (0.20.2), and after several days it appears to be
 working fine.  I used to get frequent lockups and 100% cpu changing from
 one show to the next.  Not only do I not get them any more, but the switch
 from one show to another, which often took a few seconds even if it didn't
 lock up, is much faster, with just a slight hesitation.

 Note that in 0.20.2 the change is on line 1333, and changes:

 SwitchLiveTVRingBuffer();

 ...which defaults to (false, true) to:

 SwitchLiveTVRingBuffer(true, true);
