 I can second this - some DVD's I have do not play with the internal
 player, but play fine with xine. I can usually get to the root menu, but
 anything after that abruptly kills the frontend. Verbose all logs show
 nothing.

 Once I get a debug build up I'll try and see exactly where it dies.
