 Thanks Daniel.

 No, the sparkles are randomly apearing all over the image. I have seen VBI
 information on certain channels, but that's because I can't get my ATI
 card to overscan vertically. This is not related to that.

 This problem does not exist in SVN 8560 or any previous version. I've
 never seen it before. And the sparkles have a pattern, Sometimes they are
 three pixels wide (one pixel high): white black white, sometimes five
 pixels high: black white black white black.

 Tonight I will confirm the problem doesn't exist in 8560. Hopefully
 someone else can confirm the bug as well.
