 I've seen this problem since 0.19, but its sporadic, not every program
 change, especially annoying on the kids shows in the morning with lots of
 5 minute shows and lots of 'dad its frozen!'[[BR]]

 As a datapoint I recently changed the decoder from libmpeg2 to 'standard'
 (ffmpeg) and the frequency of the problem has plummeted. I've got an
 Athlon64. [[BR]]

 Sometimes I get the show 'feezing', othertimes I get "Mythtv has
 encountered a problem displaying video".
