 Yup, attached patch isn't correct, and will result in non-smooth program
 transitions (for the majority of people that this doesn't happen to).  I'd
 suggest looking at why it still thinks there's an EOF at that point in
 time.  Additional logs won't help - more information on what is actually
 going on is required.
