 In the frontent startup process, the mythlcdserver takes longer than 1
 second to properly attach to the device and startup on my EPIA frontends.
 On my EPIA VIA MII and MS frontend systems, I increased the sleep time to
 5 (line 135 of lcddevice.cpp) and the lcd server initiated without a
 problem.  I have not yet tried values between 1 and 5, but was hoping that
 some way of detecting that the lcdserver has started could be implemented.
 Sorry I could not offer more, but my guess is that I am not the only user
 having this problem.
