 New datapoint. My current SVN is 8274. I'm not sure if anything has
 changed but I have noticed that it seems when there are lost frames when
 the OSD is up after a channel change, playback is smooth once the OSD is
 gone. When there are no lost frames during the OSD, once the OSD goes
 away, the video looses frames.

 Again, this does not happen with all my channels. I notice it on two of
 the five channels I have.
