Patches from Doug Larrick: Disable screen aspect ratio detection with Xinerama, and re-enable a no-gop in stream workaround.
Patch from Kenneth Aafloy to not print a warning message if there's no need for it in the dvb code.
Patch from Jason Rosson to cut down on the SQL queries for the playback box's
little status icons.  NOTE:  This breaks backend/frontend comms compatability.
