mythtv FE/BE combo I installed the ntfy software package
and then the Android app on my phone. On my phone I used
the + button to subscribe to a topic whose name meant
something to me related to the mythtv-database-backup
systemd service I have running once a day. </span></font></div>

and now I get the notifications on my phone instead of the
email that I used to get back when it was easier to add
external mail to a running program.</font></div>

tested the System Events in mythtv backend setup via the Web
App and put in a similar curl command and I picked the
Recording Started event. That worked as well.</font></div>

can figure out I'm using their service via their <a
href="https://ntfy.sh" moz-do-not-send="true"

don't have an account setup. So it's free. Their cheapest
fee plan is $5/month for an annual plan. That gives you a
lot of messages per day and a lot of other services I don't
need or want. I'm not sure what I want to do. They talk
about self hosting, but not sure why I'd need that. Maybe
just a donation to their project might be a way to support
this?</font></div>

what restrictions there may be on free accounts.</p>
