I just figured since I had kdeconnect already installed everywhere and use it daily that's what I'd use for this purpose. I assume there are others that also use kdeconnect and mythtv on the same system that may benefit by learning the workaround I finally figured out that allows user mythtv to send sms messages.</div><div><br></div><div>George </div></div></div>
