I have been recording PBS News hour for years. Suddenly it stopped
recording episodes. It shows nothing in upcoming recordings. I go to the
record rule, which is active and appears fine. I check schedule info >
upcoming episodes and it says "no listings found for this program." I run
mythfilldatabase and it seems to run normally, and is scheduling other
programs. What to do?

I would say the title has been changed slightly but when checking
here displays as "PBS News Hour". I then checked for 'Original
Airdate" and that is current -- reasoning was some local news
state "January 1, 2000" so gets interpreted as a repeat.

I would try going to the Programme Guide (block listing option),
find and select 'PBS News Hour' there and create a new recording
rule. S.N.: While looking up the show I also noted 'PBS News
Weekend' and 'PBS News Special: CNN Presidential...' -- you'll
need to accommodate these -- maybe a rule for "PBS News" to cover
all options? The circled letters in the corner of the Guide might
also give a hint.

Quirky thing here (for me): I'm in Iowa and we have a state-wide
PBS network with the main station near Des Moines and eight
'repeaters' plus numerous translators. Originally when I set my
MythTV up their PSIP for the main and three sub-stations were
"IowaPBS", so all four channels listed IowaPBS, They eventually
changed to PBS, PBS Kids, World and Create. Just wondering if
your PBS station updated, though seems like a PSIP change should
not affect a title lookup.
