I would suggest to also look at the videocard. I have an old frontend<br>
with an Intel core2 duo and an nvidea videocard. It used to suspend<br>
and wake without issues, but in the last 1 or 2 years it is giving<br>
issues. Every now and then it goes into alarm on waking up and I get<br>
sometimes video lockups, especially if I have used suspend to disk. My<br>
present guess is that my videocard is starting to dement.<br>
But that aside, videocards are known to have issues on restore and it<br>
is often needed to save and restore the video memory separately. There<br>
are several tools to do that.<br>
