    <p>I've been suspecting that MythTV frontends were not causing all
      the artifacts I've been seeing.  I notice a wide range of GBs/hour
      lately.  I record only USA OTA HD ATSC 1080i and 720P broadcasts
      and like previously stated the HD file sizes have decreased since
      the FCC repack of channels.</p>
