The only external thing that MythTV initiates a connection to that I<br>
know of is to report its configuration and version to a site that<br>
aggregates that data. But it only does that if you tell it to.<br>

So is it possible that you have misconfigured something and have made<br>
mythweb available to the wider Internet? If so, the bots will have<br>
found it and will be connecting all the time, attempting to break into<br>
Apache and gain access to your system. But that should show up as<br>
access to Apache, not the MythTV executables.<br>
