<div dir="auto">I tried it on my FireTV 4K Stick. The video
playback looked very good, and I had no problems with 1080i
MPEG2 (I have to do software decoding to do 1080i on
mythfrontend). That seems like quite a big advantage to get
good playback on more devices without the Mythfrontend
configuration tweaking.</div>

nothing else I’ve tried comes close. Leanfront was on par

slow.</div>

if the performance could rival mythfrontend it would be
interesting. I only use the recording playback, so a leaner
app that did that well would be great.</div>

This is still a very preliminary version, more like a proof of
concept. My primary aim was to get 4K video to work on android. I
will be making many improvements.<br>
