If not, make an entry in /etc/hosts for backend-3. Like:

192.168.0.3               backend-3.local backend-3

Unless you resolve names in some other way.

    <p>Thanks! Will keep that as a suggestion to resolve any future

      problems. Actually forgot about that redirection ‘trick’.</p>

    <p>Not sure why it worked but Stephen’s suggestion to copy in the

      config.xml from “Backend 3” to the Raspeberry Pi Frontend fixed.</p>
