<div dir="ltr">I am trying to get the drivers for HDHOMERUN installed on my Mythbuntu 16.04 system so I can use the tuners on MythTV. Am following the instructions <a href="https://www.silicondust.com/support/linux/">here</a>. The
direct compile/install methods didn't work so I used apt-get, per instructions, and got a boatload of errors, below. <div><br></div><div>Tried running the apt-get update per the last line below but got an error 'appstreamcli': double free or corruption followed by a core dump. <a href="https://askubuntu.com/questions/943463/e-problem-executing-scripts-apt-updatepost-invoke-success-error-during-apt-ge">Found a thread</a> about fixing that error, but at this point I feel like I'm down a rabbit hole here and could use some advice on how to proceed before trying that fix.
