Simple steps<br>
<br>
sudo apt update<br>
sudo apt dist-upgrade.   # note that this is NOT just upgrade as shown in previous messages.<br>

sudo systemctl stop mythtv-backend               # This will make certain it is stopped.<br>
<br>
Wait 10 seconds<br>
<br>
sudo su - mythtv<br>
<br>
mythtv-setup<br>
<br>
Once all the settings are verified, exit mythtv-setup. When asked to start mythtv, do NOT start it. Also, when asked to run mythfilldatabase, do NOT let it.<br>
<br>
Exit.  # to get out of the sudo su<br>
<br>
sudo systemctl start mythtv-backend<br>

</div></div></blockquote></div><br></div><div class="gmail_extra">Thanks all. It looks like the Mythbuntu builds for Trusty stopped at the end of March for 29, but for other (newer) Ubuntu versions continues. I'll reach out to that packaging team and see if that's supposed to be that way or if they can create a new package for Trusty and take it from there.</div><div class="gmail_extra"><br></div><div class="gmail_extra">Thank you.</div><div class="gmail_extra">Steve</div></div>
