How are you running mythtv-setup? It should be run as the same user<br>
you run mythfrontend from. And you need to make sure that mythbackend<br>
has been shut down when mythv-setup is run. <br></blockquote><div><br></div><div>I have always run all of the myth programs (setup, frontend, backend) as the "mythtv" user. </div><div><br></div><div>It turns out that what finally worked was going into mythtv-setup and UN-checking the "this is the master backend" box, saving, going in again, RE-checking that box, and saving.
